Indie 2 Industry is an LLC founded and run by Thomas Lovelace. Known as Cyrus Phantasm to most, he set out to create an atmosphere that would effectively bridge the “indie” world of producers, engineers, musicians and artist to the “industry”. With his vast experience with many other networking sites and his background as a producer, he had a firm understanding of the complexities of bringing the two worlds together.
In the beginning of February 2008, Indie 2 Industry was a dream on paper. However, by the end of the shortest month of the year, it was celebrating it’s 100th member. Within months it was able to celebrate several firsts as it’s network and the website itself grew.
The Indie 2 Industry website features live audio/video chat, customizable profiles, forum, Digi Shop, Industry Professionals, Classifieds and so much more.
The motto is “100 % Powered By Our Community!” That phrase speaks for itself. I2I prides itself on being what it’s members need. Feedback, questions, suggestions and commentary from Indie 2 Industry members help shape the community atmosphere. At I2I it is all about the members! What you need to be successful is what Indie 2 Industry strives everyday to provide you with. Whether you need tips to help you with production, resources like copyright information, minor legal advice from our (registered) entertainment attorney, or feedback on one of your projects, the I2I community is there for you!
Created out of a love for music and a respect for those who create it, Indie 2 Industry will continue to grow and be a force in building and sustaining the bridge between “indie” and “industry”.
